Why Shop With a One Man Band

Whilst shopping at a bog chain, or heaven forbid it, that company that gets to send the boss to space, a small one man band is just a normal person. Quite often with a lot of industry knowledge gathered over years of working in corporate environments.

A one man band is not interested in maximising profits, they are not interested in getting commission on a sale. A one man band is interested in creating a relationship that keeps a client coming back over and over again. A one man band values service over profit. A one man band wants repeat business rather than a quick sale.

I have worked in all environments and tried applying the service focused business model to everything I have done. Unfortunately the world we live in does not seem to care about that. This is exactly why I decided to stop trying to care for faceless business entities and why I am now solely focused on helping people.

I still need to make a living but it is important to do this on a clean way. A way that means I can still look myself in the mirror each morning with no regret. If I can make your life easier, then I will. If I can solve your problems, then I will. If I can make enough to pay my bills and look after my wife and dogs, well, that’s the icing on the cake.
